Propresenter 4
I don’t know if everyone on the mac in church media is excited as I am about the new features of Propresenter 4, but I am. The guys there are great and really working hard to get the product released. However, we are still experiencing many crashes while importing and editing content on the ‘release candidate” beta. While being beta I do expect some issues, a “release candidate” is supposed to be almost ready. I am sure that these issues will get resolved, and we will continue to submit our reports upon every crash in hopes to help with the solution. Anyone else having these issues or is it just me?

Hi Andy,
Thanks for your kind words. Did you report your crashes? We do not have any known repeatable issues with editing content. If you can submit the report on the forum, it would be most helpful.

I did Greg. I am going to try to rebuild the system again tonight to see what happens. We did a clean install of snow leopard last Monday which made 3.0 very unstable as well so I want to try again to eliminate that as a possible issue. I will also submit it on the forum in addition although we have been submitting them regularly through the interface as well.
And yes we are very excited and know that you guys will have this in top shape and help those of us with issues getting things resolved. I would not use another product for our media, I have tried them all and will stick with mac/pro presenter!

Thanks Andy. We are doing all support for the beta on our forums. This allows us to help everyone publicly, and hopefully share information in an efficient manner.
What we need on the forum is specific steps to reproduce a crash. We are doing all of our bug tracking through the forum–so if you have something, we will be sure to get it fixed. As of right know, we do not have any outstanding known crashes. We are very close (days) to our final release, so I’d like to get this resolved if it is indeed a repeatable issue. I’ll look for the report on the forum.
